___Q.s.R. 85O(E~In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Passport A~ 1967 -(fS of 1967) the Central Government hereby makes the following roles further-to amend the Passport Rules, 1980, namely ;-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Passport (AmendmentjRules, 2008.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
