THE WEST BENGAL MOLASSES CONTROL (AMEND-
MENT) ACT, 1954.
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of they President was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 29th March, 1954.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Molasses Control Act, WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the. West Bengal Molasses Control Act, 1949, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted as follows :-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Molasses Short title. Control (Amendment) Act, 1954.
2. In sub-section (4) of section 1 of the West Bengal Molasses Control Act, 1949, for the words "five years" the words "seven years" shall be substituted.
