C GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act I of 1999 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1999. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 1999.] [31st March, 1999.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1999. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1999; It is hereby enacted in the Fiftieth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows :-
