Section 15
Section 15 of the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001. Disqualification of members of the Committee -A person shall be disqualified for appointment as a member of the Committee of a society under this Act if, on the date of such appointment, he is, - (a) not a major;

(b) of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court;
(c) an applicant to be adjudicated as an insolvent or is an undischarged insolvent;
(d) convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude or sentenced by a criminal court to a fine of not less than rupees one thousand or to imprisonment for a period of not less than six months; and (e) disqualified for such appointment by an order of a court.
