Section 1 of the Assam Purchase Tax Act, 1967. This Act may be called the Assam Purchase Tax Act, 1967.

(1) This Act may be called the Assam Purchase Tax Act, 1967.

(2) It extends to the whole of Assam.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint, Definitions.
