Compensation in case of compulsory acquisition of a mine
Section 12 of the Atomic Energy Act, 1962 deals with compensation in case of compulsory acquisition of a mine. Where the Central Government acquires, in accordance with any law, any mine or part of a mine from which in the opinion of the Central Government any of the prescribed substances can be obtained, compensation in respect of such acquisition shall be paid in accordance with section 21: Provided that i The Act came into force on 21 Sep 1962.
