Section 31 of the Bodhgaya Temple Act 1949. Payments exceeding Rs. 20.00 except the payment of salaries and emoluments of the staff of the Committee, shall be made by cheques signed by the Chairman or signed by the Secretary and countersigned by the Chairman.
