General duties of Health Officer
Section 131 of the Cantonments Act, 2006 deals with general duties of Health Officer. The Health Officer shall be the Advisor to the Board in all matters relating to sanitation and exercise a general sanitary supervision over the cantonment and shall periodically submit a report along with his recommendations at least once in every month to the Board.
