Power to amend Schedules
Section 49 of the Dam Safety Act, 2021 deals with power to amend Schedules. If the Central Government is satisfied that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by notification, amend the First Schedule, the Second Schedule or the Third Schedule and thereupon the Schedules, shall be deemed to have been amended accordingly. The Act came into force on 30 Dec 2021.
