Section 22A of the Delhi Development Act, 1957 deals with power of Authority to develop land in non-development area. development area.-- Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2) of section 12, the Authority may, if it is of opinion that it is expedient to do so, undertake or carry out any development of any land which has been transferred to it or placed at its disposal under section 15 or section 22 The Act came into force on 30 Dec 1957.
