Section 31 of the Depositories Act, 1996 deals with repeal and saving. The Depositories (Third) Ordinance, 1996 (Ord. The Act came into force on 20 Sep 1995.

(1) The Depositories (Third) Ordinance, 1996 (Ord. 28 of 1996) is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
