Section 57 of the Finance Act, 2004 deals with amendment of section 272B. Amendment of section 272B. 57. In section 272B of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (2), after the word, brackets, figure and letter "sub-section (5A)", the words, brackets, figure and letter "or sub-section (5C)" shall be inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 2005.
