Section 1 of the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968 deals with short title, extent and commencement. This Act may be called the Goa [ *** ] Land Revenue Code, 1968.

(1) This Act may be called the Goa 1[ *** ] Land Revenue Code, 1968.

(2) It extends to the whole of the 2[State of Goa].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; and different dates may be appointed for different areas and for different provisions of this Code.
