Section 26 of the Goa University Act, 1984 deals with annual Report. The annual report of the University shall be prepared under the directions of the Executive Council and shall be submitted to the [Court] on or before such date as may be prescribed by the Statutes and shall be considered by the [Court] at its annual meeting.

(1) The annual report of the University shall be prepared under the directions of the Executive Council and shall be submitted to the 60[Court] on or before such date as may be prescribed by the Statutes and shall be considered by the 61[Court] at its annual meeting.

(2) The 62[Court] may pass resolution thereon and communicate the same to the Executive Council which shall consider and take such action thereon as it thinks fit; and the Executive Council shall then inform the 63[Court] at its next meeting of the action taken by it or of its reasons for taking no action on such resolutions, if any.

(3) The 64[Court] shall submit the annual report to the 65[Chancellor] along with its comments, if any.

(4) A copy of annual report as submitted to the 66[Chancellor] shall also be submitted to the Government, which shall, as soon as may be, cause the same to be laid before the Legislative Assembly.
