Preparation of balance sheet and accounts
Commencement. 19th April, 2021- Sections 2, sub-sections (1), (2) and (4) of section 3, 4 to 14, sub-section (3) of section 15, 16 to 23 and 25 to 48 vide notification No. S.O. 1657(E), dated 16th April, 2021, see Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, sec. 3 (ii).
Section 25 of the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development Act, 2021 deals with preparation of balance sheet and accounts. The balance-sheet and accounts of the Institution shall be prepared in such form and manner as may be prescribed. The Act was enacted on 28 Mar 2021.
(1) The balance-sheet and accounts of the Institution shall be prepared in such form and manner as may be prescribed.
(2) The Board shall cause the books and accounts of the Institution to be closed and balanced as on the 31st day of March each year or such other date as the Board may determine.
