G.S.R 25(E).--In exercise of the powers confcrred by soclion 9, read with section 76, of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (61 of 1985), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules firther to amend the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985, namely :-
1. (I ) These rules may be called the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (~rn&hent) Rules, 1996.
(2) Those rules shall come into force on the date cf thzir publication in the Oficial Oazette.
2. In the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substnnce: Rules, 1985 in Schedule I, under sub-heading I1 relating to psychotropic substmces, after serial number 33 and entril:s relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be added, namely :-
