NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 13th September, 2019 G.S.R .655(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), read with rule 26 of the Insecticides Rules, 1971 and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare) published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3,Sub section (i), dated 14 th December, 2016 vide number th December, 2016, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby appoints the following officers of Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage as Insecticide Inspectors with jurisdiction as specified against their names, who shall draw samples as and when directed by the Plant Protection Adviser to the Government of India or under direction from Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, namely:- S.
