New Dclhi, the 14th December, 1993 G S.R. 748!(E) .-In exexcise of the powers conferred by scction 9, read with s a i r . ~ 76 of the Narcotic Dugs and Psycl~otropic Substanccs Act, 1985 (61 of 1985 , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amen1 the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985, namely :- 1 (1) These rules may be called the ~ a r c a t i c Drugs and Psychotropic Subst mces (Amendment) Rules, 1993.
(2) They shall conic into force on the date of their publication in the Offici~l Gazette.
