1. (i) T b z rules may be called the Narcotic DN&p and Phychotmpic Substances (Amendment) Rules. 1995.

(ii) They shall wme into force on the date of theiu publication in the Official G-e.

2. In the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic w i ~ l w 203 Substances Rules, 1985, in Rule 2. for Sub-mle(c) and entries relating thereto, the following shall be subdtuted namely:- "(c) "Chemical Bamincr* means the Chemi- cal Examiner or Deputy Chid Chemist or Shift Chemist or Assisrant Chemical Examiner, Government Opium & Alkn- ---------- loid Works.
