NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd August, 2017
S.O. 2798(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment further to amend the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation, number G.S.R. 301, dated the 27 th February, 1971, namely:— In the said notification, for item (xix) (c) and the entries relating thereto, the following item andentries shall be substituted, namely:— ASHWANI KUMAR, Jt. Secy. (Plant Protection) Note : The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) ,vide number G.S.R. 301, dated the 27 th February, 1971 and last amended vide number th April, 2017 Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi.
(For a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification)”.

S.O. 2799(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment further to amend the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, number
S.O. 79(E), dated the 3 rd February, 1997, namely:— In the said notification, for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:— Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi. Chairman”.
