MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOODAND PlJDLICDISTJUBUTION (Departmeat of COllsumerAffairs) the following rules further to amend the Legalldetrology (Packaged Commodities) Rule$,20 ir, namely!'-

1. (l) 'these rules may be called as the LegalMetrol~gy (F.aekagedCommodities) (Amendment) Rule~,2015. (1). Save as otherwise provided in these niles, they shall come u,tofo(l;:e on tbeilate ofth~ir ptJ~HcationIn the Official Gazette.

2. In the Legal Metrol~gy (Paclc.agC(jConunodiHes) Ru(es; 2Qll (herl'Hnafter ~eferred to as tile said rules), in rule 2.~

(i) for clauses (bb) and (be). the lollowing clauses shall be substituted, namely:- from the manufactUrer or from an importer or from wbolesale de.lllerfor u~ by that.industr)! . and the package shall have declaration 'not for retail sale'; ,

(be) ·'iilstitUti('jrtal consume",' means the .institUtion \vbQ Iil.r¢$ cit availli of the 18,cilitkis pr services. in connection with transport. hotel, hospital or other organisation which buy dealer·for use by'!:hat ltmit!Jti~, and the pa¢ka~ shall have decl8tatl~n 'not for retail sale.' j ,

4. In the said rules, il'l rule 7.-
