CORRIGENDUM
New Delhi, the 11th October 1999 S.R.O. – 183 – In the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Defence under SRO 76 dated 19th April 1999 published in the Gazettte of India, Part II Section 4 dated the 8th May 1999 at page 85-
(i) In line 4 for “1998” read “1999”
(ii) Below line 9, the following Note shall be inserted namely:-
2. In the Coast Guard (General Rules) 1986 for rule 20 the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “20. Retirement – (1) Retirement age for officers holding a rank higher than that of a Commandant shall be sixty years and for officers of other ranks it shall be fifty seven years.
(2) Retirement age of enrolled persons shall be fifty seven years” Note:- The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India vide number SRO 4(E) dated 2nd May 1986 and subsequently amended vide SRO (S) 4(E) dated 13th Feb 1992, and SRO 201, dated 19th Nov, 1996.
