Section 45 of the United Provinces Excise Act 1910 deals with grant of license by grantee of exclusive privilege of manufac-turing tari. Where a license for the exclusive privilege of manufacturing tari has been granted under section 24, the [State Government] may declare that the written permission of the grantee to draw tari shall have the same force and effect as a license from the Collector for that purpose under section 42 The Act came into force on 24 Feb 1910.
