Section 6 of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Act, 1972 deals with officers and other Employee of the Board. For the purpose of enabling it efficiently to discharge its functions under this Act the Board may appoint such number of officers, teachers and other employees as it may, with the previous approval of the State Government, think fit. The Act came into force on 17 Aug 1972.
