Section 23 of the AIPH,Odisha Act, 2017. The Deans of the University shall be appointed by the Vice- Chancellor with the approval of the Chairman of the Board from amongst the Faculties of the University as may be prescribed.

(1) The Deans of the University shall be appointed by the Vice- Chancellor with the approval of the Chairman of the Board from amongst the Faculties of the University as may be prescribed.

(2) The Deans shall assist the Vice-Chancellor in managing the academic affairs of the University and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed or be entrusted to them by the Vice-Chancellor. Comptroller of Finance.
