Education Extension
Section 30 of Bihar Animal Sciences University Act, 2016 deals with education Extension. Education Extension programme shall be enitiated in the University and shall be, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, made useful information based upon findings of research available to farmers and others to help and solve their problems.
Education Extension - (1) Education Extension programme shall be enitiated in the University and shall be, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, made useful information based upon findings of research available to farmers and others to help and solve their problems. It shall conduct demonstrations and training programmes for the benefit of students, extension workers, farmers and entrepreneurs. Extension Education shall be co-ordinated with the other functions of the University and other appropriate agencies of the State.
(2) The University shall be responsible for the Veterinary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, and Fisheries and allied branches Extension Education activities in the State as in subsection (1) above. In order that the University may conduct such activities, the State may transfer to the University the necessary personnel, facilities and funds in accordance with a plan to be developed as mutually agreed upon by the Board and the Government.
