Section 23 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Act, 2005 deals with amendment of section 260. In section 260 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1),- (a) for the words "two hundred rupees", wherever they occur, the words "two thousand rupees" shall be substituted;
