Establishment of Board
Section 4 of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Labour Welfare Fund Act 1986 deals with establishment of Board. (1) The Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette establish a Board for the whole of the Union territory of 11[ Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu by the name "the, 12[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] 10Substituted for the words "contribution made by employers and employees"; by the (Adaptation of State Law) Third Order, 2022 11Substituted for the words and expression "Goa,"; by the (Adaptation of State Law) Third Order, 2022 12Substituted for the words and expression "Goa," by the (Adaptation of State Law) Third Order, 2022 Page 5 Daman and Diu Labour Welfare Board" for the purpose of administering the Fund and to carry out such other functions as may be assigned to the Board by or under the Act.
(2) The Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall, by the said name sue and be sued.
