NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th November, 19'96 G.S.R. S09(E).--In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9, read with section 76, of the Narcotic Dmgs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (61 of 1985), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985, namely :- 1 . ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Second Amendment) Rules, 1996.
(2) They shall come into force on*e date oftheir publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance; Rules, 1985, in Schedule I, under heading "IL Psychotropic Substances", serial number 6 relating to Clobazam and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. Note : Tho principal rules published vide
G.S.R. 837 (E) dated 14th Novanibar, 1985 were subsequently amended vide Printad by the Manqer. Oovt. of India Prosx, Ring Road. Mayapurl, Ncw Dclhi-llMM4 and Published by thc Controller of Publications, Dalhl-110054 - 1996
