S.O. 739(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred qq, qfqq by Section 9 read w~th Sections 4 and 76 of the Narcotic THE GAZEITE # INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [ P A K ~ 11--Sw. 3(ii)] Drugs and Psychohpic Suhstanrrs A a t , t M (64cdf1f985), the Central Govemmcnt;keby makes the following roles further to amend the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1m5, namely :-
1. ( I ) These rulas-be called the Narcotic Drugs and Rsychotropic Substances (Amendment) Rules, 201 1.
' (2) They shall aome into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2 In the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
(i) in sub-rule (I), in clause (ii), for the word "Board" the words "Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue or any other officer, not below the rank ofAdPht~onal Secretary to the Government of India, atdhorlzed by him in rll~s behalf' shall be substituted;
"Central Govamment" shall be substituted.
