Section 86 of the Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout-Design Act, 2000 deals with indexes. There shall be kept under the direction and supervision of the Registrar-- (a) an index of registered layout-designs, (b) an index of layout-designs in respect of which applications for registration are pending. The Act came into force on 01 May 2004.
There shall be kept under the direction and supervision of the Registrar--
