Certain Acts not to apply to registered Trade Unions
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 deals with certain Acts not to apply to registered Trade Unions. The provisions of the following Acts, namely:--- (a) the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (21 of 1860); The Act was enacted on 28 Sep 2020.
The provisions of the following Acts, namely:---
(a) the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (21 of 1860);
(b) the Co-operative Societies Act, 1912 (2 of 1912);
(c) the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 (39 of 2002);
(d) the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013); and
(e) any other corresponding law relating to co-operative societies for the time being in force in any State,
shall not apply to any registered Trade Union and the registration of any such Trade Union under any of the aforementioned Acts shall be void.
